I attended the beginners four week course in yoga and found it very enjoyable. As someone who is very interested in inner development but new to yoga, I felt that the course was simple enough to understand yet really captured the essence of meditative practice. Despite being part of a class, Wai made it feel very personal by advising us to focus on our own personal journey through yoga and to recognise one’s own unique flow. Wai’s Yoga class is wonderful. I always leave the class feeling relaxed and noticeably less tense in both my muscles and my mind. The class is friendly and encouraging. After running the ‘BathHalf’ this year I was aching all over, but after the Wednesday night class my legs felt as good as new. Wai isn’t like some instructors that think everyone should be able to bend in half, she really understands and appreciates how individual people are in terms of their flexibility and injuries. I never feel any pressure and therefore can just enjoy the practice. Whether you are a runner or not, I would highly recommend this class.

I have never learnt yoga before and this course seems to be a great place to start with. I don’t have to worry about how I look and compare myself to others in class since we are all beginners, we are always given easier versions to choose from and steps are easy to follow.
