Who is suitable to join ‘Yoga for healthy Lower Backs’ program?
Participants maybe new to yoga and do not like to exercise. This is a very impact and gentle program, taking into account different back problems and how it can affect each individual differently. Options are available and demonstration is given to enable a each person to go at a slow pace and suitable for their needs.

- We will be using one book and CD which is listed below. You will need to bring these to the first and every session.

EFFECTIVE AND SAFE EVIDENCE-BASED YOGA PROGRAMME – ‘Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs’
This UK RCT research with 313 participants found that specialist group yoga classes led by multiple trained yoga teachers in various UK locations gave significant benefits to those with non-specific chronic and recurring low back pain. Benefits were maintained 12 months after beginning the 12-class ‘Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs’ course and participants practised yoga at home. The fully-resourced course is designed for beginners to yoga. This is the largest research trial on yoga to date, worldwide.
