This is an extremely relaxing and effective treatment which is usually treated to the feet. With the roots of this subtle therapy dating back more than 5000 years ago; where reflex areas and zones of the feet are treated by applying pressure to each point. These points of the feet are said to correspond to different areas of the body like a map. By treating these areas and bodily systems are brought into balance and activates the body’s own healing abilities.

What happens during a Reflexology treatment?
Lotus reflexology treatment attends to the feet, where you remain fully clothed and simply remove the shoes and socks. You’ll be invited to relax on a recliner chair, treatment couch, or put your feet up on a footstool whilst sitting back on your sofa.
The one hour treatment includes: consultation, feet cleanse, full mapping of each reflexology point on both feet, massage for the feet & lower legs, we use organic powder or beeswax to honour the body fully, free explanation of the findings and options of what to do can be given.
A consultation would be carried out for the therapist to understand how to give you the most suitable treatment and each session is tailored to your individual needs.
If for any reason the feet is not accessible or you prefer a hand reflexology, this would be the same as treating the feet. Each reflex point that is on the feet is also reflected on the hands.
If you are on any medication or unsure about if the treatment will be suitable for you, please feel free to have a no obligation chat with our practitioner or your GP. In some cases we would give you a letter to hand to your doctor for permission to provide treatment.
After your treatment:
For maximum benefit from the treatment, it is advised that you rest afterwards; this helps your body’s natural healing process.
