What happens during a Thai massage?
Thai Massage Is performed wearing clothing, lying on a comfortable floor mat. Using a combination of massage, gentle yoga stretching, acupressure and reflexology to stimulate & balance the flow of energy around the body and thereby encouraging self-healing.
After your treatment:
For maximum benefit from the treatment, it is advised that you rest afterwards; this helps your body’s natural healing process. Drink plenty of water over the next few days to help flush away toxins.
You may experience aches and pain after the treatment as some parts of Thai massage is like a relaxed form of yoga stretching which could wake up muscles or body systems which has not been used for a while. This will soon pass like after an exercise session. If you have any questions about the treatment, please feel free to ask us.
