Wai welcomes you to a light hearted relaxed and joyful yoga journey with her. She understands everyone has a different body and encourages each person to nurture and cultivate their own bodies rather than comparing with others, so you have an authentic yoga experience.
Wai started her spiritual journey at the age of 16 when she first joined the Buddhist order. Meditating and chanting from the age of 16, she lives her teachings in day to day life. Yoga found Wai in 2001, which lead her to Vinyasa Yoga and Hatha Yoga as part of The British Wheel of Yoga.
Years of practice and learning on far away journeys led her to go deeper; she travelled India and South East Asia practising Yoga and Buddhism with teachers, nuns, monks in a monastery and in ashrams. This led her home to her heart, she now teaches from her current life time of knowledge and skills to inspire your journey of self-enquiry and to shine your truth in the here and now.
She has developed her unique style and teaches an intuitive flow and Yin Yoga maintaining the integrity of traditional yoga, depth of being to shine the pulse of yoga to different needs and backgrounds. She understands the balance of life and the connection with being real and down to earth with a light hearted relaxed attitude, creating a welcoming and joyful connection to those who practice and share time with her.

I attended the beginners four week course in yoga and found it very enjoyable. As someone who is very interested in inner development but new to yoga, I felt that the course was simple enough to understand yet really captured the essence of meditative practice. Despite being part of a class, Wai made it feel very personal by advising us to focus on our own personal journey through yoga and to recognise one’s own unique flow. I feel that the course has given me a good platform to continue to build on my personal practice. I would definitely recommend it!

Wai’s Yoga class is wonderful. I always leave the class feeling relaxed and noticeably less tense in both my muscles and my mind. The class is friendly and encouraging. After running the ‘BathHalf’ this year I was aching all over, but after the Wednesday night class my legs felt as good as new. Wai isn’t like some instructors that think everyone should be able to bend in half, she really understands and appreciates how individual people are in terms of their flexibility and injuries. I never feel any pressure and therefore can just enjoy the practice. Whether you are a runner or not, I would highly recommend this class.

“Yoga with Wai has really helped to ease my tight muscles as well as giving me the opportunity to relax after a busy day. I’ve recommended this yoga class to all of my colleagues at Lordshill Road Runners and will continue to do so. If I had enough time, I’d like to practice yoga with Wai every day!”
